Maggie Dave is the music project of visual artists Sean David Christensen & Mark Christopher. The duo explores vivid pop melodies with R&B rhythms, collaborating with visionary animators to create unique worlds for the listening experience. The band's music has been presented at the Hammer Museum and their music videos have screened worldwide alongside works by Dua Lipa, Missy Elliot, The Chemical Brothers, Black Pumas and The Shins. "I'm Not Ready," their debut single animated by Cassie Shao, was awarded with a Vimeo Staff Pick and won "Best Music Video" at the 69th Columbus International Film & Animation Festival. Originally formed in Phoenix as a solo project by lead singer Sean David Christensen in 2016, the band has since expanded its sound with an array of celebrated collaborators and co-writers, including M83’s Joe Berry, composer Nina Shekhar and Grammy-nominated choral arranger Tehillah Alphonso.
